Incredible black vintage Laura Ashley dress. Size 14-16.

This 1980s black Laura Ashley dress is stunning. It is jet black in colour but has a beautiful pattern which it picked up in the light. 

The dress is very full in the skirt and has the most incredible layered pleat section to the rear which makes it hang beautifully. It is made to the usual high quality Laura Ashley style, and is fastened with decorative buttons to the low back and zip to the side.

From my experience it is hard to come by these in the bigger sizes, so grab a statement dress to use for many years.

This dress is marked a size 12 but on close inspection, the dress has been professionally altered to fit a bigger size. I only noticed as I have an identical dress in a different colour and compared the two. It has been altered extremely well and means it fits a bigger size which is very hard to find in these dresses. 

It would suit a busty 14 or 16 best.
