1980's Laura Ashley velvet and lace strapless mini dress

This 80's Laura Ashley dress is a dream and the first of these I've actually come across. 

She is a foxy little number: Black velvet boned bodice, with beautiful blue piping detail.  Blue mini skirt with black lace overlay, and she is full but short!  This will fit like a dream and make sure stand out at that next party!

Beautiful Laura Ashley quality, fastening by zip to the back.  Please note, the dress was too small on my mannequin so the zip isn't fully fastened.  It does work fine though!

Pit to pit -32" (boned bodice)

Waist - 26"

Hips - 48"

Length - 27"

No stretch in the fabric (Cotton, Acetate, Wool) A vintage size 10, but best on a size 6-8 in modern sizing.
